Delivery
Our delivery charges:
- £4.95 for orders under £50
- FREE on any spend of £50 or more.
Our single-item gift boxes are ‘letterbox friendly’ and will fit through most letter boxes, allowing you to receive the parcel in your absence.
Orders are processed Monday-Friday only. Your order will be processed the following working day. Should there be any delay to your order we will contact you with the details. In the unlikely event that your order is out of stock following the time your order was placed - we will contact you to offer you a refund or alternative.
We use Royal Mail 48 hour service for prompt and economical delivery*. For orders over 2kg total weight, we may also use a courier service. (We shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver products you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to products delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation to, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident.).
*As of late October 2022 where any Royal Mail disruption is expected due to strike action we may use an equivalent 48 hour courier service to send your order.
We will deliver the products ordered by you to the address you give us for delivery at the time you make your order. It is, however, your responsibility to provide us with accurate delivery address details. We will not check or verify addresses and messages supplied by you.
We currently deliver to addresses in the UK only.
Refunds
We hope to ensure your experience with davenport’s chocolates is entirely fabulous as we take great care and pride in our handcrafted chocolates. However, should you not be entirely satisfied, please contact us and we will do our best to rectify the situation. If the products we deliver are not what you ordered, are damaged or defective, or you did not receive them, we will refund or replace them at our discretion. You may only cancel your order if you contact us before your order has been dispatched; in this event, any sum debited to us from your credit or debit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible, and in any event within 30 days of your order. This right of cancellation does not apply to bespoke or corporate orders.
However, we shall not have any other liability to you regarding the purchase of our chocolates. Save as precluded by law, we will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage, or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) howsoever arising out of any problem you notify to us under this condition and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the products. You must notify us of any problem within 7 days of receipt of purchase.
